Storm brewing over climate-change clash
The opposition's climate policy, which has no emissions trading scheme or carbon tax, is Mr Abbott's first big gamble as leader, and high risk for him. But there is also nervousness on the government side, with Labor MPs admitting privately support appears to be waning for the emissions trading scheme, for which revamped legislation comes back today.

Mr Abbott said Mr Rudd ''is refusing to move on from Copenhagen. The world has moved on. Kevin Rudd won't and can't move on.''
Wow! BBC man lays in to environmental 'fascism' – Telegraph Blogs
On the motorway last night I caught Radio 4’s latest Analysis programme, and I nearly drove off the M4. For a minute I thought I’d tuned in to a pirate broadcast by Radio Free Delingpole. It was presented by Justin Rowlatt, the guy you may remember as the BBC’s Ethical Man, who used to pop up on Newsnight agonising about making his wife wear plastic shoes or the price of a family holiday in a cardboard box under the Shepherd’s Bush flyover. He’s supposed to be a front-line eco-warrior, or so I thought until I heard his fascinating 30min look at the intolerance of the climate change movement. Justin has lined up heaps of evidence that shows up the hidden agenda of the green brigade, namely the destruction of capitalism and the creation of some kind of socialist utopia.
American Thinker: It's Not Blowing In The Wind
The amount of land dedicated to the Energy Department's wind wish is beyond comprehension. Hard-core greenies shudder at the thought of the development of thousands of square miles; plus the turbines will drive animal rights activists bonkers.
Climate sceptic clouds the weather issue
Yesterday [Monckton] drew about 100 people -mostly retirees - to his lunch-time speech and an estimated 1000 to an evening address at the Sofitel.
