TRIANA: WHERE IS THE DEEP SPACE CLIMATE OBSERVATORY?Flashback: Who are you and what have you done with Bob Park?
...But it has a far more important scientific purpose in the climate debate: is Earth's climate determined entirely by the Sun, or is there a component of anthropogenic warming?
Below, check out some of the amazing stuff that Park has written. I'm quite interested in theories as to how Park could be fooled so badly on this issue--if you have one, please let me know via email or a comment.
...[2006] POLAR BEARS: MAYBE THEY'LL GROW FLIPPERS WHEN THE OCEAN MELTS.
Environmental groups sued the government in December to add polar bears to the endangered species list; their habitat is fast being destroyed by global warming. According to the Wash Post, the Bush administration has agreed to study whether polar bears should be on the list. Coming just as the Evangelical Climate Initiative is announced, the reality of global warming now seems to be accepted by almost everyone except petroleum geologists

http://research.aerology.com/aerology-analog-weather-forecasting-method/ link to how the cyclic patterns of the natural variability patterns interact to drive the long term weather trends. Suggestions on how to solve the problems of current weather forecast models to better forecast climate changes that are based in reality not JUST CO2 as if nothing else existed.
Park used to (maybe he still does) publish a physics news blog for the Americal Physical Society. I was so fed up with reading his comments that I didn't renew my APS membership. I still haven't.
