A cap-and-trade system or a carbon tax are the only policy frameworks that could achieve each of the four desired outcomes from energy reform -- cleaner energy, greater security, job creation, and the lowest cost, Rowe said.  [Why doesn't Rowe point out that this scam will also save our grandchildren from roasting in CO2-induced hellfire?]

Like any other polemicist who decides to fiddle with the facts just a little for the sake of some greater truth, these "scientists" wound up having to do it a lot - and made the mistake of putting it all in writing. How embarrassing.

Result: Phil Jones, who used to be the go-to guy when you were looking for data to support the climate change theory, has become the scientist to get away from.

Kerry said recently that he is closing in on a bipartisan bill. He vowed to push forward, noting the issue is as much about jobs and national security as about the environment.
