Department of Climate Change behind on environment
The federal government's Department of Climate Change may be at the cutting edge of environmental policy development but it is well behind when it comes to its own effect on the environment.Benny Peiser: Climate libel chill - FP Comment
The department has told a parliamentary committee that its Canberra headquarters achieved only a 2½-star rating on the five-star National Australian Built Environment Rating System and did not comply with the government's policy on energy efficiency in its own operations.
As a result, it is seeking approval to spend $20.5 million fitting out a new building which will have ''state of the art'' green features including passive air handling systems, photovoltaic arrays on the roof and facades and sophisticated energy management and lighting controls.
When asked for the data behind one study ‘proving’ global warming, CRU scientists instead planned to sue. Following the release of the Climategate emails from East Anglia University`s Climatic Research Unit (CRU), the U.K.’s House of Commons Science and Technology Committee decided to investigate its implications “for the integrity of scientific research.” Benny Peiser of the Faculty of Science at Liverpool John Moores University submitted a memorandum, which appears below in edited form.FOXNews.com - After Climate-Gate, U.N. In another sign of trouble for Pachauri, the U.N. announced earlier Wednesday that he was to appear at the press conference along side Dijkgraaf, but Pachauri failed to show up.

Asked if there will be an effort to include climate change skeptics in the internal debates over which data are used, Dijkgraaf declined to answer.

I guess you're 100% correct about everything on this site since you have a Masters of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. What would a bunch of real climate scientists know about climate science anyway. After all, they don't have your non-climate degree, so they are just clueless. Just because the polar caps are melting, sea levels rising, sea coral dying, and my favorite ski slopes in Switzerland melting away more each year so that some of my favorite runs are being moved to a higher elevation, doesn't mean the earth is warming, no sir, especially the Canadian winter Olympics, they had no problem with snow this year I heard. And I know there's no such thing as various logical errors people fall into when they search for arguments to support a conclusion to which they have arrived at a priori.
