Only some species will adapt and evolve to survive climate change.Andrew Revkin - The Death of Science Writing, and the Future of Catastrophe | Point of Inquiry
In this conversation with host Chris Mooney, Revkin discusses the uncertain future of his field, the perils of the science blogosphere, his battles with climate blogger Joe Romm, and what it’s like (no joke) to have Rush Limbaugh suggest that you kill yourself.ARE WE READY TO PAY A TAX ON LIFE?
All this was inspired by the principle-which is quite true in itself-that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously.YouTube [2 minute audio] - Monckton On Climate Hoaxers: "Jail The Lot"
Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying. -Adolf Hitler , Mein Kampf, vol. I, ch. X[1]
BlackAndRight — March 11, 2010 — Wednesday evening, I had the honor of attending a presentation given by noted 'climate change' skeptic Lord Christopher Monckton, sponsored by the Bull Run Republican Womens Club in Manassas, Virginia.
I essentially wanted to know (with all the revelations of deliberate fudging of climate data to "prove" global warming is happening) what the legal ramifications on the players could be, considering how the billions of dollars cities, states, businesses, corporations, as well as whole nations have spent going "green", not to mention the adverse effects on developing nations?
