The Migrant Mind: Snow in South Texas on 1st Day of Spring
Yes, this is weather and not climate, but to have such weather for more than 7 months now, where the winds blow from the north, you lakes freeze for the first time since 1986, and a record low temperature for the area was set, it is clear that this isn't a normal winter.
theblogprof: Protest Against Granholm "Meatout Day" Proclamation Draws 150 To Lansing
For my part, I was incensed because 1) Granholm is making such proclamations as she has been driving Michigan right into the ground, 2) the proclamation wasn't to celebrate something, but rather to tell Michiganders what not to do, and 3) it shows me that the radical left has Granholm's ear, which means she hasn't learned one darned thing from 7 years of 'governing,' such as it is.

According to the documents obtained by Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the Speaker’s military travel cost the United States Air Force close to $2.2 million over a two-year period — $101,429.14 of which was for in-flight expenses, including food and alcohol.
N.C. climate change panel's end may be temporary :: WRAL.com
A permanent panel chafes the commission’s critics, who argue the panel has been a waste of taxpayer money that stacked the deck in favor of those who believe global warming was caused primarily by human activity. Dissenters have been strengthened with the release of e-mail messages from a prestigious climate research unit in the United Kingdom that raised questions whether scientists were hiding data that didn’t fit their theories.

“Right now (any) recommendations aren’t credible because it’s all been grounded in science that has serious questions,” said Daren Bakst, director of legal and regulatory studies at the conservative-leaning John Locke Foundation, who isn’t on the 34-member panel.
