The Reference Frame: Black body limits: climate sensitivity parameter can't possibly be high, a proof
Let me show you another simple way to see that the climate sensitivity can't really be close to the IPCC's mean value (and certainly not close to the upper end of their interval).
[Although it's nearly April, Arctic warmists report that it's still bitterly cold]
Bitterly cold temperatures and strong winds continued today, yet the Explorer Team stuck doggedly to their extensive scientific routine.

Ann had reported on the bitter conditions that descended around them yesterday, so it is remarkable that a full range of scientific work was completed, including drilling, water-sampling, bottling and filtering.

Not that there weren’t a few glitches on the way. These tasks are fiddly to carry out in normal temperatures. With a wind-chill of –50°C, with several pairs of gloves on, this work becomes virtually impossible. It’s not just fingers and toes that have a habit of freezing, but the equipment too. Today the Kemerrer bottle, used to capture water from various depths, refused to work.
Twitter / Andy Revkin [Speaking of the Arctic, is it really so warm up there this year that harp seals couldn't find a place cold enough to breed?]
IFAW: Lack of ice that hammered harp seal breeding efforts also wrecks this yr's seal hunt...
Weather and Climate Through the Eyes of Mark Vogan: Sleet and Snow now mixing with rain, Hills are White and about to get even whiter!
It's March 29th and the snowflakes are falling through the rain and appears as though snows will try to hold winter across much of the UK for the first few days of April. The month of April is going to roar in like a lion and certainly March has been a month where the lion roared on both ends of the month.... This is a testament to the kind of winter we have just endured.
