INVERNESS'S younger generation has come under fire for failing to help clear snow during one of the coldest winters to hit the city for almost 50 years.The Lord Brown Problem | OpenMarket.org
Phyllis Lindsay, a Muirtown Community Council member, questioned the attitude of some youngsters who were not prepared to get stuck in and help clear estates and cul-de-sacs.
"My husband was out every day clearing paths with other people and he is 70," she said.
"Young people will not go out. They sat back and watched the elderly."
Everybody wants to save the world, but no one wants to help mom wash the dishes.
