Arctic Winds « the Air Vent
The paper claimed that 1/3 of the minimal Arctic melting trend was due to winds and the recent 07 losses were 50 percent due to winds, leaving the rest for interpretation. Now from the video, I would estimate any differences from normal (whatever that is) in 07 to be 99% wind and water currents but that’s just a thumbnail.

So, no conspiracy, no collusion, no manipulation of data, no corruption of the peer-review process, no scandal; just an understandable reluctance to hand over data to dishonest people with a history of misrepresenting it.

This is a big departure for German media who have been one of the strongest advocates over the years for action by governments to head off climate change. The idea that a leading publication would devote so much space to explaining why Climategate is so important is a good sign that skepticism is making some headway - at least overseas.
Global warming trumps climate change?
Do a Google search for "global warming" and "climate change". With "global warming", the term the public is more likely to use, a "skeptical" site comes up second [note: search is done from Canada, others may find different results].
