Crony capitalist are in love with crony capitalism.

And so what does it mean to the average person that big oil backs the tax scam and lies? Meanwhile the people bend over for new taxes.

Big oil loved MTBE as an oxygenate to clean the air. They got to charge more for it even though mileage was reduced and only had air quality benefits for 5-10% of cars on the road. They didn't even mind it when it got into ground water until the government removed the liability exemption. At that point, the Feds were more interested in currying favor with farmers by substidizing corn based ethanol.
