A Pretty Naked Threat From Greenpeace | Climate Skeptic
So one side of the climate catastrophism argument abhors open debate, refuses to allow scientific work to be shared or replicated, and openly threatens violence, and it is those of us on the other side who are anti-science?
Rahmstorf (2009): Off the mark again (part 3) « Climate Sanity
VR2009’s equation yields realistic looking sea level rise rates when historical 20th century temperatures are used. But that is not because the equation explains the relationship between temperature and sea level. It simply describes the relationship during the 20th century. If their equation explains the relationship between temperature and sea level, then it must yield a reasonable sea level rise rate when a reasonable temperature is used. Clearly, it fails this test.
The Hockey Schtick: Trees Insist Arctic Cooled 500-2004 AD
A 2008 paper shows that the updated Torneträsk data "show a trend of -0.3°C over the last 1,500 years". The trees also say that the end of the Little Ice Age in the late 1800's was the lowest temperature over the past 1,500 years, and according to ice core data was the lowest temperature in the past 10,000 years. By pure chance, this exceptionally cold period is also the same time the global temperature record (HADCRU) begins in 1880. Thus, the global thermometer record showing increasing temperatures in the 20th century mostly represents the recovery from the lowest temperatures of the past 10,000 years during the Little Ice Age. The Torneträsk pines insist that the rate of temperature increase and temperature anomaly of the 20th century was not unprecedented and was less than that of the Medieval Warming Period (~850-1200AD).
Global Warming/ Climate Change – The Biggest Ponzi
Human production of carbon dioxide is estimated to be 8 gigatons (GT) or 8 billion tons of carbon dioxide. This statistic alone sounds like a huge number and one about which we should be concerned. However, the resident carbon dioxide in the rest of the atmosphere and oceans is estimated to be 40,000 GT. In other words, the contribution of the entire human race amounts only to .02 of 1% (8/40,000) of the total atmospheric CO2.

In summary, there is no “global warming.” There is no “climate crisis.” It is a global fraud being perpetuated by self interest groups – scientists who get money for climate research and politicians who see the opportunity to collect climate taxes to maintain their power.
[Can oil money be used for bribes to advance the climate swindle?]
The current Congress will not approve legislation focused solely on capping emissions, predicted Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who has joined Sens. John Kerry, D-Mass., and Joseph Lieberman, I-Conn., in negotiations on climate change legislation. "And we'll never have offshore drilling standing alone, through an energy package," he added.

The solution, Graham said, is to combine the two concepts. "That's where the votes are at," Graham said.
...
"When you put cash in front of a financially starved legislature, everything looks more attractive," said Dan Jacobson, legislative director for Environment California. "If you dangle the idea of getting oil money," that could be irresistible to lawmakers "trying desperately to keep schools and hospitals open."
