Our View: CEOs rank California dead last
In its annual survey, Chief Executive magazine ranked California 51st, earning it the distinction of being the worst state in the nation for business. Even the District of Columbia ranked higher, which explains the ranking of 51.

Despite being the world's eighth-largest economy and having had the nation's fastest growth rate in the 1950s and 1960s, California has "become the Venezuela of North America," according to the magazine.
...
The Chief Executive ranking is similar to others that rate California's business environment among the nation's least business-friendly, highest-taxed and most regulated. Nevertheless, California state government is plunging ahead with new, costly regulations to "solve" the nonthreat of global warming by imposing cap-and-trade and other draconian measures on an already struggling economy.
Obama’s failure on climate change | Grist
I've been in DC for a week or so, talking to all kinds of folks, and this is one thing every single one agrees on: only Obama can salvage the climate bill. I keep asking, "well, will he? What's his plan? Have you heard anything from the White House?" The answer is blank stares. Nobody knows.
Cap-and-dividend: the worst possible way to regulate GHG emissions | Grist
When "is she pretty?" gets the old "she's got a great personality" answer, we understand the subtext. When "will it reduce CO2 as quickly and as cheaply as possible?" gets answered with "it has populist appeal," we ought to be no less skeptical.
The Hockey Schtick: Mars has warmed 4 times more than Earth over last 20 years
...Since satellite data indicates the earth has warmed less than 0.4°C over the same time frame, Mars is warming four times faster than Earth.
Save the planet! Forget the humans | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
In fact, the Government is putting a useless gesture to “save” a planet that’s not in peril before doing something practical for people who really do need help.
Give that warmist scientist a mirror | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
Just within these few lines, we have warmist scientists deploring “attacks” on them, yet in the same breath accusing their critics of corruption. We have Lambeck demanding views be based on facts and science, yet endorsing a futile scheme whose very name is a lie, since carbon is neither a pollutant nor a greenhouse gas, but that black and sometimes sooty stuff that be useful to make colorless carbon dioxide seem the pollutant that it isn’t, either.
