Pachauri-led IPCC [suggests that carbon dioxide makes it harder to grow plants]
The conclusion reached at the event was that climate change represents an immediate and unprecedented threat to the food security of hundreds of millions of people who depend on small-scale agriculture and natural resource management for their livelihoods.
Sacramento allergist blames global warming for increasing allergy problems
One local allergist said global warming may be partly to blame because it is responsible for increased carbon dioxide levels and plants need carbon dioxide to grow.

"Worldwide," said Dr. Paul Cloninger, "we are probably getting higher levels of pollen because of the carbon dioxide and increased plant growth."
