Yes, this is largely a climate skeptics’ event. Not that Al couldn’t have come. A long list of notable climate “alarmists” – among them Gavin Schmidt, James Hansen, Michael Mann, Phil Jones and William Schlesinger – were invited to the Chicago conference, yet declined.
