Head to Head on Energy and Climate - Dot Earth Blog - NYTimes.com
There’ve been times when I’ve sparred with David Roberts, a smart, funny, valuable voice on energy and the environment over at Grist.Flashback: Chilling Intolerance for Free Speech on Global Warming
"When we've finally gotten serious about global warming, when the impacts are really hitting us and we're in a full worldwide scramble to minimize the damage, we should have war crimes trials for these bastards - some sort of climate Nuremberg." -David Roberts, Gristmill, Grist Magazine, September 19, 2006

Hey, you're smart and funny, too. Even valuable in a certain way.
Tom, I've never noticed you commenting at other blogsites. That's not to say that you don't ever, it's just I've never seen it.
So is this the real andy or a doppleganger?
The real Andy could indeed take lessons from this site. For instance he might learn to use encription to safeguard his clandestine love notes to Gavin.
But if it is the real Revkin, what does it say about a reporter that he felt impelled to serve up a two sentence fit of snark?
Unctuous is his default demeaner?
He comes off as artificial, mealymouthed, insincere, two-faced, oily.
Wouldn't the real Andy be too busy fending off objections from real scientists to the latest installment of his ongoing climate fable? Or rather asking Gavin for help?
I'm guessing that this is the real Revkin.
