Fall of 7.5% in power obtained from wind, hydro and other renewable sources blamed on dry winter with low wind speeds

[Brian Merchant] The clearer the science gets on climate change, the easier it is for the public to digest it, the more willing our politicians will be to address the issue head-on (in most of the industrialized world, policy already has been established to do so). Of course, we'll still face the onslaught of fossil fuel industries' well-funded efforts to confound the public [what, specifically, does this mean?!], and there will be politicians who will never give science the time of day.
