It's methane wot done it!
Warmists have been riding the wrong horse. A new paleoclimate study shows that it is methane, not CO2 that affects warming. CO2 levels are tied to ocean circulation.
Global warming: Black list a black day for science
All of the elements of climate consensus confusion creation (henceforth to be known as the 4Cs), are contained within this piece of junk. Creation of jargon. Attribution of motive. Assignation to a list because someone else put a scientist's name on it. Using opinion of where scientists publish and what they say as if it were gospel.

Very much of a piece with the other junk coming out these days. Very much a symptom of a group that can no longer respond to the real arguments.

It's a travesty. Stephen Schneider, how could you lend your name to this garbage?
Team Observes Record-Low Densities in Upper Atmosphere
(PhysOrg.com) -- A team of scientists from the Naval Research Laboratory and George Mason University reports that the Earth's upper atmosphere has recently experienced the lowest density in 43 years. The team has published its findings in a paper entitled "Record-low thermospheric density during the 2008 solar minimum" that appeared in Geophysical Research Letters in June 2010.

I personally lost my confidence in these "climate scientists" when their dire predictions of "global cooling" in the 1970s turned to "global warming" just a few decades later. "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me".
