Inhofe needs to brush up on his rebutals: Hot in Washington? Record cold in Australia, South America and Cali. Hot year? It's an El Nino year - same as 1998. The trend this century is cooling.
Given that Inhofe tried to use proof of record snow in DC late winter as proof against AGW, it's only fair to question him about the current heat wave.
Anon 5:20 -- the question isn't strictly about ENSOs, but about WHY this ENSO is so warm, when by all other measures (e.g. the SOI) it is a weak-to-moderate ENSO and nothing at all like that of 1998....
