Can airlines lose less money to the climate swindle if they switch to solar-powered planes?

Complying with the system would cost airlines at least €2.4 billion, or about $3 billion, a year. Much of that cost would need to be passed through to consumers in the form of higher ticket prices, according to the International Air Transport Association, which represents the world’s airlines.
