Report shows wind industry in distress
"The U.S. wind industry is in distress," said AWEA CEO Denise Bode, in a statement Tuesday calling for support of a national renewable energy standard to be included in the Senate energy bill. "A (renewable electricity standard) is a critical component to ensure the U.S. wind industry thrives."

Now, it would be one thing for Krugman to argue--wrongly, in our opinion--that the "supposedly damning e-mail messages of 'Climategate' " were not actually damning. But no one has denied that they are genuine. Krugman's description of them--and every other accusation "leveled against climate researchers"--as "a fraud concocted by opponents of climate action" is flatly false.

An article prominently featured on an official U.S. Consulate website outlines how Stern and a fellow climate change guru travelled through South America earlier this month to drum up support for their agenda, at the expense of U.S. taxpayer dollars no less.
