"Inception" roundup: If you really believed that carbon dioxide was dangerous, would you endorse the making of this movie?

If left-wingers believe that carbon dioxide is dangerous, why would they approve of burning massive amounts of fuel, resources, and money unnecessarily to make this movie? Why did climate fraudster Al Gore endorse it? The movie is full of fossil-fueled vehicles being driven at high speed, explosions, destruction of property, etc.

If nearly $200 million was spent making this movie, couldn't that money have been better deployed on ad campaigns to encourage families to stay home and play board games by natural light?
