American Thinker Blog: China - not hot on "global warming"
Apparently, China's government-controlled bookstores are now stocking manmade climate skeptic books, like the Low Carbon Plot by Gou Hongyang, which makes them more democratic than The New York Times. What is perfectly clear, though, is that the Chinese helped to euthanize Copenhagen, for a reason. They're not going to sacrifice their economy for Gaia-worshipping prophets.

If history-denying Europeans, wish to bury the Younger Dryas, the Holocene Warming a, the Egyptian Cooling, the Holocene Warming b, the Akkadian Cooling, the Minoan Warming, the Bronze Age Cooling, the Roman Warming, the Dark Ages, the Medieval Warming, the Little Ice Age, and numerous other preindustrial climate changes, then that's their prerogative. But: why should China? Or: working-class Americans?
David Suzuki pursues his eco-legacy
Gunnarsson says all too often, Suzuki -- along with other seminal voices of the environment -- have been incorrectly labelled as bleeding hearts, economic naysayers and "the sky is falling" alarmists. Suzuki tackles those accusations as part of his lecture with a plea that we all reexamine the very premise of our day-to-day existence and finally confront "the enormity and unsustainability of our impact on the biosphere."
Fairbanks Daily News-Miner - In Alaska Fisher challenges Young for U S House nomination
Young is an unabashed supporter of developing Alaska's natural resources, including offshore drilling and petroleum development in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. He calls global warming a scam.
More "Evidence" For Global Warming « Alan Colmes' Liberaland
Now, I don’t really expect this “weather chaos” (and isn’t “weather chaos” a great name for an indie rock band?) to convince anyone of global warming but I would raise the question of what would exactly convince the skeptics? An end to winter? A liquid South Pole? Anchorage being granted a Major League Baseball Franchise? Our planet is taking a beating and we need to seriously debate what should be done. I grant that the answer is not exactly clear but we can’t even have the debate until enough people believe there is a problem.
Alberta walloped with snow - The Weather Network
[July 13, 2010] While not completely impossible, heavy snow like this in July is pretty rare.

“This is totally out of the blue. To receive this much snow in July and have it stay on the ground is unheard of,” says Gibson.
