Australia: Celebrating snow bunnies fail to detect CO2-induced planetary overheating

The cold weather left snow bunnies celebrating, as Victoria's alpine region enjoyed one of the best snowfalls of the season.

Weather bureau forecaster Michael Halfpenny said about 20cm of snow fell in the alps.

"It could certainly be the best snowfall of the year and we're expecting another 20cm before Tuesday," Mr Halfpenny said.

Falls Creek lodge owner Graham Parker said the snowfalls had boosted spirits.

"We could get well over half a metre of snow if the predicted cold fronts drop even more snow than what's already fallen today," Mr Parker said.
