[Carbon dioxide hoax] Celebration at Millennium Park
Chicago Climate Action Plan Team, Broadway in Chicago, "Carbon Nation" producers and staff and others will join together on August 10, 2010 from 7-10 pm CT, at Millennium Park to celebrate the power of every-day climate change solutions. The free family event will be emceed by acclaimed documentary host and producer, Bill Kurtis, and feature live performances from comedian Hal Sparks, performances by The Happiness Club, a school-aged singing troupe, and the star of Shrek The Musical, and will culminate with the Chicago premiere and screening of "Carbon Nation" film.

The featured entertainment, the movie "Carbon Nation", is an optimistic, solutions-based, non-preachy, non-partisan film that shows fighting climate change boosts the economy, increases national and energy security and promotes health and a clean environment.  [But do these expensive "solutions" still save our grandchildren from Co2-induced hellfire?] The film features a cross-section of dynamic players including local agriculture advocate Jim Slama, Van Jones, founder of Green for All, Richard Branson, entrepreneur and founder of The Virgin Group, James Woolsey, former CIA director, Lester Brown, founder of Earth Policy Institute, and Thomas Friedman, author and New York Times Columnist.

If their solutions are really so good, solving energy security AND climate change AND health etc. then why not keep them VOLUNTARY! No carbon taxes, no subsidies, no law changes, no nothing. Let Richard Branson - who has his own airline - convince people to get out of their cars, to turn air conditioning off, and so on .. just use persuasion.
