Germany: Wild Boars Love Climate Change...

Wild boars in Germany are increasing their population quickly. They are doing so in close conjunction with climate warming. The increased temperatures spur the chestnut and oak trees to produce more delicious, to pigs, seeds.

...As for the publications they were counting, they got them incredibly wrong. They hugely inflated the publication counts for their 'side' and reduced the publication counts for the opposition. In short, they lied about the data.

It wasn't science--it is blackmail. They broke the rules to create an instrument that will be used in the future (Joe Romm has already called for this) to deny funding, grants and tenure to people who at any point in their career dared to criticize the consensus on climate change.
