Stephen Hawking: Abandon the Earth

Hawking could be right about the need for space exploration. But too bad, we have already decided to go to a "low carbon" energy-starved future, and that means rocktets have to be rejected as a waste of precious energy.

AND, if it evaporates it rains back down, right?? Or does trillions of gallons just disappear into space? This is pure insane fantasy!!
