Yellowstone Bears Warning Issued – Global Warming [Allegedly] to Blame | Gather
A warning has been issued for Yellowstone tourist because the park’s bear are especially hungry this fall. The Yellowstone bears are bringing with them a heightened level of danger.

The Ledger  states that scientist are warning people that the bears of Yellowstone usually eat whitebark pine cone nuts but the nuts are not in abundance this year. The bears have ventured out of their usual Yellowstone hunting grounds and are now showing up in areas frequented by people.

Bear reports have been flooding into the Fish, Wildlife and Parks regional office in Missoula this year because of a cold spring that has delayed fruit and berry growth by about two weeks, said Jamie Jonkel, bear management specialist. Consequently, bears are prowling the lowlands where people live and play to find food.
