Gore didn't dwell on his signature issue, global warming, but mentioned flooding in Pakistan and a Russian heat-wave, drought and wildfires as examples of the problem.
"There is no state … that has more at stake than the state of Florida where global warming is concerned," he said. "Kendrick is the only candidate who was opposed to drilling off Florida before the oil as well as after the oil spill."
