Biodiversity as important to India as climate change: Ramesh
New York, Sep 26 (PTI) Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh has underlined that Convention on Biodiversity was equally important to India as combating climate change, which tends to hog the limelight.

"Climate change gets the headline, biodiversity does not get the headlines," Ramesh told PTI as he left New York this weekend after a week of attending environment related meetings, including those with US Climate Change Negotiator Todd Stern and Chinese Environment Minister Xie Zhenhua.
Browner's green blues - POLITICO.com Print View
Yet even as Browner’s stock rises, her rationale for remaining by Obama’s side is declining. The collapse of the administration’s comprehensive climate change effort — a career-long goal for Browner — has stoked rumors that she’ll head for the exit rather than settle for an incremental, vastly scaled-back energy agenda.
...
“I heard, by reputation, she was some environmental wacko, but I didn’t find that at all,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who pulled the plug on bipartisan talks over the summer.

On the other hand, a Browner departure would be the gladdest of tidings for industry lobbyists who think she is a green zealot like her former boss Al Gore.
...
...At the time, Browner had wanted, perhaps naively, to turn the BP spill to her advantage, hoping it would jump-start the moribund climate change bill in the Senate. It didn’t happen.

“People just weren’t talking about it,” she said. “The vast majority of people — it really surprised me — they moved on very quickly.”
Skeptics Survey –
This is a survey for skeptics only!

We'd like to know about the motivation of skeptics, to be precise: what do they think, how did they get to „skeptics". The survey starts with some simple questions in order to get some general information. The core of the survey is represented by subsequent questions related to statements, issues and resources in the „climatosphere".
Pacific Warming, Atlantic Hurricanes & Global Climate Non-Disruption | The Resilient Earth
Bottom line—Central Pacific Warming is not caused by global warming and CPW does not influence Atlantic hurricane frequency.

Never have so many scientists looked so long and so hard for corroborating evidence to prop up a theory. After looking for a smoking gun for 50 years, it is about time for the eco-alarmists and warm-mongering climate change supporters to admit that their pet theory is not supported by the facts. The reason they have not found the proof they seek is simple—the anthropogenic global warming theory is wrong and changing its name to global climate disruption will not make it right.
