Inconvenient Ice Study: Less ice in the Arctic Ocean 6000-7000 years ago | Watts Up With That?
Since there is so much worry about the Arctic Sea Ice extent this time of year, it is always good to get some historical perspective. According to this study, our current low Arctic ice extents are not unprecedented.

BALTIMORE — Environment Maryland is calling for cuts in emissions blamed for global warming that the environmental group says could lead to increases in extreme weather events.

The group released a new report Wednesday in Baltimore's Fells Point waterfront neighborhood, which was flooded by Hurricane Isabel in 2003.
