But richer countries like the United States are going to be expected to pay a lot more than this to help poor countries mitigate climate change and adapt to its consequences. Remember: less than a year ago, developed countries promised at a United Nations climate meeting to provide $30 billion in fast-track financing to be dispensed by 2012.

But have they? The World Resources Institute, which is tracking the pledges, has said that some of the money promised so far is not really new money to combat climate change but the rebranding of previously committed aid funds.

Did the Met Office use a different branch of climate mathematical analysis in 1972, or has the data been corrupted?

And why did the Head Of The Met Office at the time put forward that the SUN as being resposible for the changes in our climate, and yet this rather important issue is NOT on the Met Office radar as of today?
