-- It opens with a description how we are suffering from global warming. It then proceeds to explain how global warming in the past allowed the survival and growth of early man.
Through specific adaptation... They actually did things to survive and flourish.
There are a few iffy things. One is that the ancient global warming cycle took place over tens of thousands of years. Why do they consider it possible that this one is taking place in a hundred?
The other is that their establishment of of a natural cycle of global warming.
The third is that they study ancient human ancestors, hundreds of thousands of years ago. Of course, our species did not develop tools until a few tens of thousands of years ago, and only socialized 10,000 or so years ago.
Overall, while this program sets out to study the dangers of the current warming period (if it exists) it ends up supporting the other side - that climate change is natural and humans are smart enough to deal with it.
I don't have a blog any more, maybe you might choose to post this.
