Is There an Effective Climate 'Narrative'? - NYTimes.com
There’s one important additional point about narratives. If calls for action to constrain emissions of greenhouse gases don’t shift away from oversimplifying the science to embracing the implicit complexity and uncertainty, they’ll keep failing. As I’ve been saying for a long time now, the aspects of human-driven climate change that matter most to society — the pace and extent of warming and sea-level rise, for instance — are surrounded by durable and (un-manufactured) uncertainty.
