(Reuters) - Flooded highways, railroads and airport runways are among the transportation snarls looming as the world's climate changes, and officials should plan with this in mind, a U.S. study says.

Freezing rain led to hundreds of accidents across the metro area Saturday night and this morning, the State Patrol said.

More than 60 of the 373 reported crashes in Minnesota involved injuries, the State Patrol reported shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday. Of the accidents, 341 were in the metro area, includiing 137 spinouts off the roads.
