It appears that Chris Huhne, our Energy and Climate Change Secretary, is so obsessed with the half of his job relating to climate change that he can happily ignore the other half, to do with keeping the lights on. But Mr Huhne is far from alone. Not a single MP of any party has yet found the courage to mount a properly briefed challenge to all this lunacy. So what do we pay them for?

They can slander Dr Singer all they want, and blame everything on industry. But that isn’t going to make the Richard Lindzens, Hal Lewises, Steve McIntyres, Jo Novas, Anthony Watts, Roy Spencers and the hundreds of free sceptic sites in the Internet go away. The sceptics are getting ready to storm the beaches Greenery in a climate science D Day.

The sceptic weeds are sprouting and growing around, faster than the eco-zealots will ever be able to pull them out. The nutty hypothesis of AGW is about to be suffocated in Germany. The eco-zealots ought not be so stupid to think they can stop this tsunami of science that is about to crush everything in its path. History shows it is impossible to continue this scam. Do everyone a favor, and give it up.

Of course the eco-zealots are welcome to show the public how sound their “science” really is. Come out and debate in front of everyone. Stop running and hiding. If the science is so sound, then why use all the authoritarian tactics?
