Darwin has coldest November day on record - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
The weather bureau says Darwin has had its coldest November day on record.
The temperature rose to just 25.6 degrees Celsius in the 24-hours to 9am today.
Senior forecaster Ashley Patterson says heavy low cloud and light rain are keeping things cool.
The previous record over the past 70 years was on November 19, 1981, when the lowest maximum temperature was 26.2 degrees.
