Obama is expected to fly by a helicopter -- Marine One -- from the city airport to the Indian Navy's helibase INS Shikra at Colaba in south Mumbai.
From there, he will drive down in Lincoln Continental -- the Presidential limousine -- to the nearby the Taj Hotel.
Two jets, armed with advanced communication and security systems, and a fleet of over 40 cars will be part of Obamas convoy.
Around 800 rooms have been booked for the President and his entourage in Taj Hotel and Hyatt.

Living outside of the USA I make an extra effort to stay in touch with issues back home. I vote via absentee ballot, I talk to friends and relatives on the phone and I of course converse via email.
As a US citizen I have no problem with the US President renting out an entire hotel if security is the question. I neither like nor support the majority of our current President's policies. President Obama, like it or not is my President, I would be furious if any group or foreign government tried to inflict harm on President Obama and I would be demanding the most intensive investigations and retributions for any attempts against our President.
This trip to India I don't really understand. I remember President Nixon going to China which was not only a big deal but also during the middle of the cold war. I really don't see President Obama going to India having equal importance. A week or two ago I said to my wife that I am truly concerned about Obama's safety during this trip to India. President Obama's safety may truly be an unnecessary risk for little or no gain to our country.
What does the USA have to gain with this trip by President Obama going to India and is it worth the risk to our President?
