Already 37.7% (as of 12/8) of the country has a snow cover. That’s about 3 weeks ahead of schedule. About 1/3rd of Hudson Bay is frozen over. Much of the Northern Hemisphere is shivering. Sixty-six people have frozen to death in Poland alone. Heavy snow has shut down the airport, the Eiffel Tower and bus lines in Paris, France.
