CANCUN: In a dramatic move that will alter India's climate change policy irrevocably and have potentially very deep impact on the economy, the Government of India on Wednesday told the world that it was willing to commit to legally binding commitments as part of an international climate deal.India makes major move to save climate talks - International News – News – MSN India
Asked to explain his position after his speech, Ramesh told journalists: 'India is not against (the agreement having a) legal form. It is against a legally binding agreement. That is the red line.' At the same time, he wondered why so many countries were 'discussing the form (of the agreement) without knowing the content. It is putting the cart before the horse.'
