Wisconsin: Marshfield Man Died of Hypothermia, Found in Field
The Wood County deputy coroner is identifying the victim as James Scheel, 37. His body was found in a field early Sunday morning, after he had left his car, which was stuck in the snow storm.
Oregon: Missing Oregon City Woman Found Dead
72-year-old Joyce Speaker was found dead by a snowmobiler on a remote forest service road off Highway 224 Sunday afternoon. Her body was inside her car in deep snow at the 3,600' level. Speaker likely died from hypothermia.
22 Feared Dead as Fishing Boat Sinks Off Antarctica - 20 Saved from South Korea vessel
(Newser) – A South Korean fishing vessel has sunk off the coast of Antarctica, with at least 22 men feared dead. Rescuers saved 20 and recovered 5 bodies, but held out no hope for the missing. Hypothermia sets in after some 10 minutes in the frigid waters, notes AP.
