It would have been nice had we had a heads up YESTERDAY, so we can plan a little better. They know in advance what time they will begin the outages. It's not like they say,"Oh, about now is good". It also cause traffice hazards. What's this "15 minutes". My power was out for one hour.

2 Hours and counting. House dropped 4 degrees in one hour, and I have new energy efficient house. Hope the power comes back on soon. There is a saying - "Lack of prior planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part." Maybe the folks at CPS should adopt that philosophy, so as to not burden it's customers with power outages WITHOUT WARNING.

I was without electricity for an hour this am. This happened right when we got out of bed. It is amazing that most of San Antonio's heat comes from natural gas. The only electricity needed is to drive the motors to force the air through the heat exchanger. The irony is that the commercial users seem to be exempt from the black outs. Most of Crappy Public Service is driven to supply the less profitable market, and freeze (or sweat) the profit making market for the better good (bad)! Steps down from soapbox!
