Brainwashed kid travels the world promoting the global warming hoax

The 13-year-old who has the world planting trees - Telegraph
At the age of nine, Felix Finkbeiner hatched a plan to plant a million trees in his native Germany. Now he's a global eco-superhero
...'Getting media attention is easy,’ Felix notes nonchalantly.

From then on, Felix’s commitments snowballed. In June 2008 he attended the UN Children’s Conference in Stavanger, Norway, and was elected to the junior board of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP). That November, he addressed the European Parliament. In 2009 he travelled to the UNEP conference in South Korea, explaining the three-year process required to plant a million trees. With that goal in sight in Germany, he invited other nations to start their own Plant for the Planet groups. Last year, aged 12, he was a star of the Cancun climate-change conference.
...
Global warming, he intones, is caused by too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Trees capture this carbon dioxide. The answer to looming climate catastrophe: trees, lots of them.

What about the climate change sceptics?

'We children discussed this often,’ he told delegates at the UN in New York in January. 'We have an answer. If we follow the scientists that tell us there is a crisis and we act, and in 20 years we find out that they were wrong, we didn’t do any mistake. But if we follow the sceptics and in 20 years we find out that they were wrong, it will be too late to save our future.’

This is what the skeptics have been saying for years; if you want to solve climate change issues plant trees. But oh no, the EU wanted a cap&Trade system which would cost billions every year, they did not want to plant trees. So this young guy who addressed the EU Parliament was politley ignored that's all. By the way, we have a local logging company who makes money cutting down tress, however over the years they have replanted 750 million trees. I wonder how many logging compnaies do this? I'll bet many do.

I think its hilarious that the last argument he made is essentially pascals wager. This is a religious wager that states if you believe in god, and do what he wants your whole life, then you get heaven. If you do the same thing and god doesnt exist when you die you've lost nothing and to believe this is a complete waste of human life.

I fail to see the point you are trying to make. And I am wondering why this is posted on a global warming hoax website. This is in no way scientific but simply an opinion of one person. http://www.wnho.net/global_warming.htm
I am trying to figure out why other Americans have trouble understanding global warming. My only guess is ignorance and a lack of interest in education on such topics. Hopefully after further research I will be able to figure out how to educate people on the anthropogenic causes of global warming in way that is interesting.

Rich: Global warming isn't a question of 'belief.' You should consider taking a course in Atmosperic and Oceanic Studies. Or another science to better understand the scientific process.

Anonymous: Planting trees is not the only thing we need to do. If we want to keep our cities, houses and farms we need to do more than just plant trees. With the population growing we need the space for food production. So planting trees plus other action is needed to take care of our beautiful planet.
