Montana: Harsh winter takes toll on Sanders County fawns
And the ground surveys he's done, Sterling told the Sanders County Ledger last week, show a 38 percent fatality rate among last year's fawns.

"We say they just don't have anything left in their tank," Sterling told the Ledger, explaining that the long wintertime conditions this year have delayed the green-up of grasses and forbs the deer need for spring food.

When he did [aerial counts] last year, on April 19-20, the temperature was 70 degrees the first day and 80 the next.

It hasn't reached 60 yet this year.

"It's very frustrating," Sterling said. "I've never seen a spring like this..."

Hopefully the green bubble will soon burst, as people get sick of the distortion and begin to see the social manipulators and opportunists for what they are. It's time for more sanity and less fraud.
