Duh - that's because it takes the unfortunate involvement of humans before a natural event is considered a disaster.
Of course! The recent earthquakes in Japan and New Zealand can be directly attributed to humans. So can all volcano eruptions that ever occurred. Gimme a break!
thank you Untamed ;you said it all.
I expected better from David Attenborough.
There have been (Is it?) 5 mass extinctions? All before man ever walked the earth.
There are some things quite common to warmers. Lack of understanding. Playing games with facts.
Did not Stalin say "Where there is a man, there is a problem. Where there is no man, there is no problem." And shortly thereafter starved and shot 30 million of his countrymen to solve various problems.
The Watermellon Greens may wish to have the corporate, capitalist type of "problem" solved, but it is their own displeasure at being human that drives their cars.
David Attenborough is a fully qualified Geologist. This claptrap from him is outside his scientific education. It must be old age.
Poor old chap is pushing on a bit!
