The end is always near: now it is doomsday for the oceans
Replace the word "ocean" with "population growth", "harvests", "food", "rainforests", "biodiversity", "glaciers", "polar bears", "arctic ice" et cetera, et cetera. Why should anybody believe that this new ocean scare is anything else than just an addition to the already long list of failed doomsday predictions ....Creating the new welfare state | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
[comments] Let me get this straight.Cool, wet spring delays butterflies' transformation - Springfield, IL
1 We are going to tax the big polluters who won’t pass the cost on to consumers
2 We will compensate lower income earners for the price increases when the big polluter pass on the cost of the carbon tax.
3 The compensation will allow the lower income earners (90% now to receive compensation accorging to the Gallah’d) to keep burning fossil fuels without a loss in their standard of living
4 We are not compensating higher income earners as they can afford to pay the extra.
So how does this reduce energy usage, reduce the temperature and save the whales???

Cool, wet weather is tough on butterflies — particularly their caterpillars — in spring and early summer.
...
“It really depressed them early when we had the real cold weather,” said Dave Nance, retired biology teacher at Pana High School. Nance operates the Tallgrass Butterfly House in Anderson Prairie Park.
...
Doug Taron, curator of biology at the Peggy Notebeart Nature Museum in Chicago, said cool weather delays the development of caterpillars.
“It slows down growth, and they spend more time in the caterpillar stage,” he said. “And that extends the period of vulnerability to predators and disease.”
