I’ve written about this before: Such comments surprise me. The IPCC maintains that before AGW took hold, about 1960, the main climatic drivers were the sun mediated by volcanoes. There is more variation seen in the global annual average temperature prior to 1960 than after it. So is it not peculiar that the sun was an active participant in climate change back then, but now only plays a marginally detectable role in climate change when variations of a similar magnitude are happening.
