In January 2004 I caused some consternation, particularly in the White House, when I said that global warming was our greatest threat – greater even than global terrorism...
I still believe climate change is the pre-eminent threat facing our civilisation... There is again a leadership vacuum on this issue, just as there was in the early 2000s.
