We're saved!: Brainwashed birdwatchers fall for solar scam

Solar roof panels go up at bird watchers’ HQ
“This kind of microgeneration allows the club to make a long-term contribution to reducing the effects of climate change,” said Alan Fox, treasurer and the driving force behind the scheme.

“We’re obviously concerned about climate change impacts, such as habitat loss, on Scotland’s birds. Generating some of our own electricity reduces the club’s carbon footprint and contributes to Scotland’s renewable electricity generation.
Two questions for Mr. Fox:

1.  The average annual temperature near my house in Minnesota is about 45.4 degrees F.   By 2050, what's the net cooling effect in Minnesota, in degrees F, of your club's solar panels?

2.  Why, specifically, should I be happy about any attempts to make Minnesota's weather cooler?
