Hmm: Warmist Gillard's travel-only emissions yesterday amounted to a 92-ton annual rate; this is allegedly "relatively modest"

Leaders leave shallow footprints | The Australian
THE leaders continued their punishing carbon campaign yesterday, but kept the environment in mind. Both had busy schedules, but neither travelled too far.

Julia Gillard began her day with an early-morning drive from Kirribilli House to the airport and a quick 283km flight to Newcastle that added 0.11 tonnes of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere.
...
She then returned to Sydney.

Her total carbon footprint from her travels was a relatively modest 0.252 tonnes.
