Another astounding statement by a global warming "witch doctor"
Buja´s statement about moving from "Climate 1.0" to "Climate 2.0" clearly shows that he is living in a fantasy land. To allege that "models developed over 40 years" and the IPCC´s reports are "unequivoical" proof of human induced global warming is, of course, sheer nonsense, and discredits the entire work of an institution like the Climate Science and Application Program at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder.

Of course, nobody should be surprised by Buja´s views. A look at the Center´s web page shows that this is one of the Climate Science and Application Program´s focus areas:

Rick Perry, Out and Proud on Climate Denialism
Scientists are usually seen as quiet individuals who work to discover new knowledge that helps human civilization to survive...But when scientists try to warn us that using fossil fuels as a major energy source is poisoning our atmosphere and changing the climate in dangerous ways, Rick Perry would rather think the worse of them: Not only are scientists wrong, they are venal, too. Indulging in baseless insults is a perogative of some candidates, and Rick Perry is a master of this, a skill he learned during his Texas campaigns.

Perry makes his bizarre claims deliberately...Perry will certainly keep saying stupid things because it gains him enormous press attention and the committment of millions of Republican voters.

Los Angeles CA : Texas Gov. Perry Starts with Campaign Gaffes
Whether or not you buy the theory of global warming, Perry needs to stop pandering to his Party’s right wing and state for the record what he intends to do about manmade pollution.
As Imperiled Walruses Are Forced to Shore by Melting Ice, Obama Administration Moves Forward With Dangerous Arctic Drilling Plan
“It’s a painful irony that on the very day the Interior Department says no additional information is needed to understand the impacts of drilling on Arctic wildlife, distressed walruses in the Chukchi Sea were seen hauling themselves onto shore because there’s no sea ice where they need it,” said Rebecca Noblin, Alaska director for Center for Biological Diversity. “The Arctic is reeling from climate change, but the Obama administration has a head-in-the-sand approach to looking at the impacts of oil drilling in the region.”
